BlackGold®
USPP 17,301
BlackGold ripens 7 days after Bing/Schmidt (+7). It is self-fertile and an excellent late season pollinizor for varieties such as Regina. It has dark purple, medium firm, large fruit and is very hardy and very late blooming.
This makes BlackGold spring frost resistant. It has a sturdy grower friendly tree and is a reliable cropper for fresh market.
Cornell Stone Fruit selections are a group of sweet and sour cherry, peach, plum and apricot varieties that were bred at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, NY.
